Frequently asked questions
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 4 pm to 8 pm, check-out before 11 am. If you arrive outside these hours, please let Nicole know in advance.
Where can I park?
Public street parking is free. There is no private parking on the property.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes: bed linen, towels and fibre Wi-Fi are included in every gîte.
Are pets allowed?
One small pet is welcome by prior agreement. Please mention it in your request.
Does the price depend on the number of guests?
At Le Refuge, the price is for 6 guests; the 7th and 8th guest add €10 per person per night (free for under-2s). At L'Escapade (up to 4) and Le Cocon (2, plus a third guest on the bench bed), the price does not change. At Le Cocon, a baby cot is available on request.
What is the cancellation policy for stays?
Two rates to choose from. Flexible: free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival; 50% of the stay is due if you cancel within 5 days, and the full amount if you do not show up. Non-refundable: the price paid when booking is not refunded.
Is the tourist tax included?
No. It is 5% of the nightly rate per person, capped at €4 per person per night; under-18s are exempt.
Do I need to stay here to book a treatment?
No. Treatments are open to everyone, by appointment, Monday to Friday 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. If you stay in a gîte booked direct, you get 10% off one treatment.
How do I cancel a treatment?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the session. After that, or if you do not attend, the session is charged.
Is reflexology covered by French health insurance?
In France, reflexology is covered by many complementary health insurers (mutuelles), depending on your policy. An invoice is available on request after each session.
Is the Bol d'air Jacquier® suitable for everyone?
It is not suitable for children under 3, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. If in doubt, talk to Nicole before your treatment.
Is there a weekly rate?
Yes: 15% off for stays of 7 nights or more, on both the flexible and non-refundable rates, when you book direct. For example, Le Refuge non-refundable: €127.50 per night instead of €150.
What is the difference between the flexible and non-refundable rates?
The non-refundable rate is cheaper (for example €150 instead of €170 per night at Le Refuge), but it is not refunded if you cancel. The flexible rate lets you cancel free of charge up to 5 days before arrival.
How do I get 10% off a treatment?
If you booked your stay direct on this website, mention it when you book your treatment: the discount applies to one treatment (reflexology, Édonis® massage or the signature treatment) taken during your stay.
How long is a gift card valid?
12 months from purchase. The end date is printed on the card.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card, cash, cheque and bank transfer; French chèques-vacances for stays; CESU vouchers for treatments at home.
Which languages do you speak?
